a layman's thoughts on Galatians 4:21-31 - is Zionism correct about a small strip of land?

Good reason to doubt Zionism and the passions invoked by a small strip of land east of the Mediterranean sea and think of the restored universe under Christ the king, won once and for all then, now and forever. The new Israel is the church of Christ and not land, temple and the sacrificial system of old. The church of Christ is everywhere, universal and not a temporal place of land hegemony. David and Solomon's kingdom has passed to something far better than the laws, lands, and earthly empire. It has passed to the promised One of old who was foreshadowed to walk the earth. The kingdom of God has invaded the earth and overcome it. The battle has been won, the war of the universe is over and death and hades have been destroyed forever. We wait for this glorious realization to come to pass in full when every knee shall bow to the King... and peace will naturally reign and be realized in a restored universe and man in his rightful place has heir to the promise.

Galatians 4:21-31

New King James Version (NKJV)

Two Covenants

21 Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? 22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman. 23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise, 24 which things are symbolic. For these are the[a] two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar— 25 for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children— 26 but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all. 27 For it is written:
“Rejoice, O barren,
You who do not bear!
Break forth and shout,
You who are not in labor!
For the desolate has many more children
Than she who has a husband.”[b]
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. 29 But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now. 30 Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.”[c] 31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and with the prayers of Saint Peter, the intercession prayers of St. Demetrios and blessed Elder Paisios of the Mount Athos. May we all be changed by the divine love of Jesus Christ to a good account before the awesome judgment seat of Christ unto life everlasting. Glory to God.
