Caution on controversial end time prophecies by Holy Elders

  We must be cautious of our own human mental fermentations regarding what an elder or saint has said. And we must remember that it appears that St. John Chrysostom did not quote from revelations and some saints, even, did not want revelations to be in the canon. Why? It seams clear that this was because of the fallen nature of human nature... and what that fallen nature would create with the words of St. John.
